1. General provisions
This Privacy Policy defines how personal data of users of carrental.kz is collected, processed, stored and protected.
This Policy has been prepared taking into account the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 21, 2013 No. 94-V “On Personal Data and Their Protection”.
The personal data operator is the owner of carrental.kz. If a specific legal entity is indicated on the website or in the agreement, that entity acts as the Operator under this Policy.
By using carrental.kz, submitting a booking request or providing data through website forms, the User confirms that they have read this Policy and agree to the processing of their personal data.
2. Key terms
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable User.
User means any person who visits carrental.kz or submits a request through the website.
Operator means the person or entity that organizes the collection, processing and storage of personal data.
Processing of personal data means any action with personal data, including collection, recording, storage, clarification, use, transfer, blocking, deletion and destruction.

- information about the selected vehicle category, rental or service period, pick-up/return location and other request details;

The Operator does not request special categories of personal data unless such data is required to prepare an agreement or fulfill obligations to the User.
4. Purposes of personal data processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- receiving and processing vehicle booking requests;
- contacting the User by phone, email or messengers;
- selecting a vehicle and agreeing the rental or service terms;
- preparing the agreement and other documents related to the booking;
- fulfilling obligations to the User;
- responding to User questions and requests;
- improving the website, analyzing traffic and improving service quality;
- sending informational messages if the User has consented to receive them.
The User may unsubscribe from informational messages by sending a request to hello@carrental.kz.
5. Legal grounds for data processing
The Operator processes the User’s personal data based on the User’s consent expressed when submitting a form on the website, contacting the website contacts or continuing to use the website.
Processing may also be carried out when it is necessary to prepare, conclude or perform an agreement, or to comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
6. Data storage and protection
The Operator takes the necessary organizational and technical measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction or other unlawful actions.
Personal data is stored by the Operator and used only for the purposes specified in this Policy.
Personal data is stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of processing, perform the agreement, comply with legal requirements or until the User withdraws consent, unless further storage is required by law.
7. Disclosure of data to third parties
The Operator does not sell, distribute or transfer the User’s personal data to third parties without legal grounds.
Personal data may be provided to law enforcement authorities, courts, government authorities or other authorized persons only in cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and upon an official lawful request.
In all other cases, personal data remains with the Operator and is used only to process the request, contact the User, prepare the agreement, provide the service and fulfill obligations to the User.
8. Cookies and analytics
carrental.kz may use cookies and similar technologies to ensure correct website operation, save user settings, analyze traffic and improve service quality.
The User may disable cookies in their browser settings. In this case, certain website functions may not work correctly.
The website may use web analytics services, including Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica or other similar services.
9. User rights
The User has the right to:
- receive information about the processing of their personal data;
- request clarification, correction or deletion of their personal data;
- withdraw consent to personal data processing;
- request termination of personal data processing if there are legal grounds for doing so;
- contact the Operator regarding personal data processing and protection.

10. Withdrawal of consent
The User may withdraw consent to personal data processing at any time by sending a notice to hello@carrental.kz.
After receiving such notice, the Operator stops processing personal data, except where further processing or storage is required by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan or to protect the Operator’s legitimate interests.
11. Changes to this Policy
The Operator may amend this Policy. The new version of the Policy becomes effective from the moment it is published on carrental.kz, unless otherwise stated in the new version.
